Which is the engineering course that employers value the most?

I'm considering to take up "Mechanical Engineering with Management" at the University of Manchester. Is it more valuable than a simple "Mechanical Engineering" course? Would it be beneficial for me to study economics along with sciences in high school to take up Mechanical Engineering with Management at university?

1. Take nuclear engineers. Right now a large portion of them are about to retire while there is again a major contruction on new plants so there is very high demand for nuclear engineers with low supply, meaning good job security and pay.
