Hi I have been admited to the M.S. Computer Science programme of (Univerity of Michigan flint/Loyola University Chicago-IL/Lawrence Technological University SouthField-MI) Please suggest me which university to go for? Univerity of Michigan flint and Lawrence Technological University SouthField-MI offered unconditional admission, however I have conditional admission to Loyola University Chicago-IL.(They want me to secure minimum Bgrade after 1st semester) Please suggest me which university is the best in terms of research in Networking field and which have a Good placement records after completing studies.

  1. I think you should go to Loyola in Chicago...not just because I'm from Illinois. Since they offered a conditional admission, you'll probably be more motivated to keep your grades high. It will also look better to future employers if they know you attended a competitive university for your masters. As far as research in networking fields go ...I'm not knowledgeable on the subject so I have no advice... Let me know what you decide!!! Good luck.
  2. Really, you should be asking this question from your undergrad Comp Sci professors, not the random people on Y!A. Half of them (us) will pick schools based on sports teams, and you don't want that (I hope). So I always liked the University of Michigan because my undergrad used to beat them at basketball all of the time. See what I mean?
