How much math goes into a degree in information technology? My temporary planned major is music education, but if I were to ever change my major, my top two choices are either foreign language (since I am very skilled in learning and speaking new languages, particularly Spanish) or information technology (since I have a handy knowledge of computers, even if a lot of that knowledge doesn't even touch far more complex knowledge). But information technology, I bet, requires a lot of math outside of general ed requirements. Does anyone know?
