Being Fluent With Information Technology Knowledge Base
Is there really shortage of IT (Information Technology) professionals? I've read on my articles that there's a growing shortage of IT professionals, but I ask myself if it's true. I'm concerned with this situation in Canada and Quebec because I'm immigrating there and I want to work on IT. I'm considering study computer science at University of Montreal or University Concordia, and I don't want to spend my time and money just to discover after 3 years of studies that there's no jobs in this sector. And sorry for the mistakes. I'm not fluent in english.
The future of information security industry in the US (?)? I'm going back to university now and i need to chose a major. I was thinking about studying and earning a bachelors+masters degree in "information technology/security" and here in Sweden they have this "program" where i can spend one year at a chinese university(or Japanese) during my studies free of charge. The university(In Sweden) will have language courses from the first semester up untill the end of the whole program. I'm thinking about moving to the US later (in a few years) because I've been there before and it's really really really really really great. How easy(hard) would it be to land a "good" job? I currently have average skills in computers. Will it help that I'm fluent in Chinese too by then? Currently i easily speak english, persian and swedish(I learned them all since childhood).

Is my character a Mary Sue (based on the information provided here)? The story isn't complete yet, so this is just a basic outline of her. The story takes place in a dystopian future where children are experimented on. The character's name is Annica. She was a "lab rat" before she was adopted by a Japanese scientist who became an activist against such experiments. He's world-famous scientist, one of the richest and most renowned in the world, and he raises her with firm discipline. He homeschools her and raises her without television, so she gets straight A's and graduates Harvard by the time she's fourteen (plus she's fluent in Japanese). As a result of being buried in books all the time, Annica is socially inept and even cold and standoffish at times, although she, along with her father, are global philanthropists. Despite being filthy rich, Annica insists on living a life similar to the middle and even the lower class: for example, she buys all her clothes at secondhand stores. She shuns the advanced technology she has access to and enjoys knitting and origami. She has a dry sense of humor. She's active in humanitarian causes but has difficulty connecting with people. The main protagonist (a boy) considers her to be plain in appearance, and they have a love-hate relationship which will eventually end in love. Does she sound like a Mary Sue to you? One thing I forgot to mention: in infancy, while she was a lab rat, her DNA was mixed with bird DNA, which gives her wings, hollow bones (which makes her exceptionally fast and light on her feet) and yellow eyes, plus she has telekinesis, which is hard-wired to her emotions: if she feels too much, she loses control of her telekinetic powers.

Hello! Above all I apologize for my mistakes! I'm a Belgian mother. My 21 years old son has just succeed in Baccalauréat-Section Technique. He wants to improve its English by attempting English courses and even Maths, Physics and Technology, as a pupil , for instance, in a last level year in a Secondary School. Its aim is not to get a certificate but to make its English rather fluent and eventually, to train in the subjects previously quoted. Indeed, he will need them all for his further studies in Aeronautics Technologies. Is it possible? How and where? We would like him to live as a lodger in a family or a kind of bread and breakfast. It would be great in Ireland too! Thank you so much for giving me all information you could about the different ways to realize that.

What are my chances of being employed in Germany? I will be attending the Univerisity of Stuttgart to complete a Master of Science in Information Technology. The curriculum is taught in English. However, I'm now an American citizen, but I was born and raised in Stuttgart, Germany. I speak German fluently, but it is NOT at a university level. I can take the free course that the University of Stuttgart offers to refresh my German language skills. Ich liebe Deutschland und haette gern da zu wohnen. (I may of written wrong.) Like I said I'm still fluent and can carry a conversation about anything short of scientific and political discussions. If I finish my degree, what are the chances of being employed in Germany?
