Obviously, I could potentially earn back a good amount of the money that I spent buying the book. But still, is it worth it to sell? New To University: When are my Readings due? "Reading for Sept 11: Jan King, Chaps 1-3" This is what it says on my course website. Does this mean the reading is supposed to be finished by September 15th or is it being assigned on that day? I don't know how to interpret it... :( I'm stressed because I can't even FIND MY BOOK in the bookstore. It's sold out! :( September 11th* I meant. Not 15th.

American Universities are overated and do nothing to create smart people, agree? Many college students go through four years of classes and parties at the universities. Do these students actually learn anything that helps them to become intellectually valuable to compete successfully in the international global ecomony? If these students did not go to college and spent four years actually learning something and/or doing actual work in the working world, would these students actually be better off financially, emotionally, and intellectually in the real world of battle? I think those that stay in school too long are more ill-equiped to be successful in the world. The internet, bookstores, and other sources of information deems universities inefficient, financially wasteful, and props up false dreams. The earlier you leave school the better you will be granted that you learn in the real world and pick your own books and subjects. School is for losers and parties, and white di ckies to have sex with girls.

What are good websites for research about colleges? Aside from fastweb, princeton review, college confidential and Yahoo's education sites, what are good web sites to research potential colleges? My daughter has narrowed her choices to UCONN, Ohio State, Penn State, Duquesne, Pitt, Toledo, SUNY Buffalo and the University of Ohio. We've gone on college visits and have looked at the colleges' websites. We've read the College Prowler books, and anything we can find in the bookstores. We're still looking for feedback on the schools by students, or other info that might help us weed the list down. Any suggestions?. Thank you!

Why Does the Campus Bookstore Charge Sooooo Much for Textbooks??? This is my first semester of college and I was shocked by how much my campus bookstore charges for books, even the used ones!!! I did some researching and found a site that compares the price of any book at all the online bookstores (Textbook411 http://www.textbook411.com ) and the prices are sooooooo much lower at amazon, and half.com, ebay and all those stores than in the campus store!!! Whats the deal??? And why do universities let this happen, college is allready expensive enough!!!!
